Jean Bak

Jean received her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where she was on the editorial staff for the Journal of College and University Law. During law school, Jean advised low income clients about pending legal matters as an intern at the Notre Dame Legal Aid Clinic’s consumer law division. Jean also clerked at the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office where she regularly researched and drafted responses to motions. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Geography from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

After graduating from law school, Jean was a full-time extern for the Honorable Robert Kwan in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California. She worked on a variety of diverse bankruptcy matters, which included drafting memorandum decisions on behalf of the court. Jean is admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court, Central District of California.
