Registration of a copyright is necessary to prevent infringement.  W&M can obtain copyright registrations on behalf of Clients, and protect copyrights in valuable works of authorship, such as for computer software, art, literature, music, video and film, photography, and products.

W&M also consults on issues involving ownership rights, "works for hire", derivative works, and assignment agreements.
